There's a huge lice outbreak this year. It's not just your ordinary lice anymore but now there's SUPER LICE that seem to be impervious to lice treatment. Ugh. That's why prevention is key. With back to school comes the dreaded letter home saying that someone in the school has lice. It's a nightmare.
There's a product you can protect your child with called BOO! Shampoo and BOO! Leave-in Spray Conditioner. It's infused with tea tree oil that repels the lice a lot like a citronella candle repels mosquitoes, and really is the BEST lice repelling product you can buy.
Read the ingredients - Other products use harmful chemicals and the quality is no where near as good. Believe me, I've done the research. Boo is natural and paraben free as well as sodium laurel/laureth sulfate free. For those who don't know, those are harmful chemicals commonly found in shampoos, and other personal care products that function as preservatives. Parents should be on the lookout for those in their child's products and avoid them.
The BOO! conditioner is awesome because it's a leave in spray so you can give their head a few sprays as they run out the door to play with friends, go to school, etc. BOO! can also be used for adults who work frequently with children. The conditioning spray would be great to spritz on before work. I have my bottle right by the door to spritz my hair before I'm around a lot of kids.
You can purchase it here: BOO! Shampoo and Conditioner
It's $14.50 per bottle. For the peace of mind it's worth every penny.
